Newark and Sherwood District Silver Medalists
Wow! Our children are FAST!
We competed in the indoor athletics competitions back in January and February! We cruised through qualification resulting in a County qualifier with all Newark and Sherwood District qualifiers.
The event was so exciting with an electric atmosphere at Newark Academy! We won every single race we were in! The children were outstanding! We waited for the results with anticipation BUT unfortunately we were pipped by Barnby Road! They must have edged us in the field events because on the track we looked very dominant!
Despite the disappointment, our athletes showed great sportsmanship, shook hands and wished Barnby Road well in the county finals!
